Vision
Eva's Village aims to be a model social service organization dedicated to preserve and enhance the dignity of the individual.

Overview
Every day, the staff, board of directors, and volunteers of Eva's Village are hard at work putting faith into action by helping troubled people find dignity and the path to a fulfilling, productive life. We work to end hunger, homelessness, addiction and despair one person and one family at a time. We help our clients to achieve good health, stability and employment, build a bank account and afford decent housing. In accomplishing this, we heal families, help to establish safe and stable homes for children and create better communities in the state of New Jersey.

Campus
Eva's Village started as a small soup kitchen. As the vision of how to help the poor expanded, facilities were added and Eva's Village now occupies a well-maintained campus of twelve buildings covering three blocks in downtown Paterson. View our campus here.

At Eva's Village, our mission includes treating every person with dignity, so we take pride in the fact that our facilities are well maintained and provide clean, safe and pleasant surroundings for our residents and workers.

We take pride in being good neighbors and are proud to serve the most needy citizens of the greater Paterson area. We aim to be a model social service organization, which includes creating an attractive and safe environment in our city.

Future
Eva's Village is "Where Hope Begins" because we strive to provide all the services required, and for the length of time necessary, to create a positive change in an individual's life. To this end, and with the faith and gracious donations of our supporters, we will continue to evaluate how we can best help the poor in New Jersey achieve self-sustaining and permanent stability. For instance, in 2009, we began our long-envisioned affordable housing complex on the Eva's Village campus. Affordable housing is a critical component in the long-term success of our clients.
