Eva's Soup Kitchen: Helping to Feed The Hungry & Poor
Named after Sister Eva, one of the early volunteers in the soup kitchen, in 1982, Eva's Kitchen has grown and now serves a hot lunch for up to 400 people 365 days/year. As guests in our soup kitchen, the homeless can take advantage of our shelter, substance abuse treatment and primary health care programs in order to take that first step out of poverty.
You can help feed the hungry and the poor. Over 11.5% New Jersey residents don't have enough to eat. Eva's Soup Kitchen serves a hot, balanced, nutritious lunch to 350 - 400 people 365 days a year. No one is turned away in our soup kitchen program.
