Primary Care

Eva's Village free medical programs and primary care clinics in N.J.
Medical Clinic
Eva's Medical Clinic is
one of only a handful of free primary care clinics in the state of New Jersey. Beginning as a mobile van administering tuberculosis tests on the streets when Paterson was the nation's "TB capital". The Clinic now provides nearly 3,000 routine patient visits annually to the area's uninsured and underinsured.
The Clinic is staffed by volunteer doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses. It offers an array of services including: basic screening and assessment, primary care, immunizations, routine acute care, medication monitoring, referral, and follow-up.
Dental Clinic
Eva's Dental Clinic was founded by R. Brian Ullmann, DDS to offer compassionate, free dental care to residents of area shelters and treatment programs. The Clinic's volunteer staff offers a range of services including emergency and preventive care, diagnosis and restoration, root canals, partial and complete dentures, and oral surgery.
The community we serve, Paterson, is one of New Jersey's poorest cities. In 2005, more than 24% of its residents lived below the poverty line. Our free medical clinic, one of only five in the state of New Jersey, provides free medical and dental treatment to over 2,500 patients each year who otherwise wouldn't receive care.
