NY Giants Victor Cruz Gives Back To His Hometown

New York Giants Victor Cruz & Campbell's Chunky Soup help feed the hungry at eva's soup kitchen

Victor Cruz, a New York Giant’s wide receiver, who was born in Paterson NJ, was a giver this last Thanksgiving (2012) helping to serve meals to hungry, including Campbell’s Soup, at Eva’s Village'S Eva’s Kitchen. Campbell’s donated over 5000 cans of Chunky soup to the soup kitchen. Said Cruz:

Eva’s Village felt like the perfect partnership to come back and give back to my hometown. I can definitely relate, in one way shape or form, to the people Eva’s serves. I’m here to listen to them, talk to them, to bring, I hope, a smile to their faces, and to help those less fortunate going through some tough times during the holidays.

Please Help Feed The Homeless & Working Poor Today

According to the USDA, hunger has steadily increased in New Jersey since 2006. As of 2011, 11.5% of New Jersey’s residents struggled to find enough to eat. Year round, we serve a hot, balanced, nutritious lunch to over 350 people each day, and we never turn anyone away.
